Acoustic Guitars

An Acoustic Guitar is a guitar that uses only a soundboard (the top of a guitar) to help transmit string energy into the air to produce its sound. The soundboard will add various tonal qualities due to its own tonal mix and boost, and the soundboard also has a strong effect on guitar volume. Without a soundboard, the string would cut the air without moving it too much because it’s big, the soundboard can push air, creating a much louder sound. In addition, the guitar has a hollow body that resonates, increasing the efficiency of its lower frequencies.
